WORTH IT$3,000
Here’s my update a 1.5 years later. I still love the lip lift and what it has done to the overall proportions of my face! However, the scar isn’t perfect. The two parts of the incision did not melt/blend together well. Maybe that’s due to not have any external stitches like I’ve seen other doctors do..? Or maybe it’s because of my anatomy or personal healing. Depending on the lighting, it’s not too noticeable. It can easily be covered with make up. Overall I am still happy with the results. I will likely do a second lip lift in the U.S. later in life to freshen up my look.

Swelling is pretty much gone, incision is red but not raised. Easily covered with makeup. I believe it will look even better at the 3-month mark. Upper lip is measuring around 15mm (originally 22mm), so I don’t think it “dropped” much from last month. But I’m happy with how much the doctor took off and very happy with my decision to do a lip lift!

Thx so much for your review. I’m also looking for a lip lift right now and never know if you can trust someone solely based on what they post on insta. I was wondering how he or the staff was like. Was he receptive of what you where saying or was it more of a rush and go. In general what was the vibe like. Also how was the communication? Does he speak good English? And is there any follow up treatment? Hope your doing good how is the scar doing?

Hello! My overall experience was pleasant, they were very nice and welcoming people. He has a coordinator that speaks English, the doctor can speak some English. i mostly just trusted his expertise, and emphasized I wanted a natural look. I will say it's not at the same level of detail for consult/followup as you would expect in the US. I had to go to the pharmacy after and purchase my own aftercare and because I was traveling, I also had to remove my stitch myself. Scar is doing very well though! Very happy with my decision!

Oh my goodness, you look incredible. I’m seriously thinking about traveling to Turkey just to see him and do this. What are your thoughts?

You look great! Did you go to Turkey or Baku? Did it hurt a lot?

I went to see him in Istanbul, Turkey. Very low pain just a lot of swelling for about a week. The local anesthesia shots do hurt but it's quick.

Hey there I’m in contact with this practice for a lip lift and I’m all in to do so, but was wondering if you could give me a run down on where you stayed and how you traveled? I’d love to talk to you directly if you’re comfortable lol

Philtrum started out at 22mm!! :O The doctor said I would end up with 16-17mm. However it is currently measuring around 15mm and I feel like it will drop a little bit more with time.
Scar is healing nicely, barely noticeable with makeup on. The incision feels flat, with only the center a bit stiff and more sensitive than the rest of the area.
Main concern now is my smile. Can’t smile normal, it looks bunched up on the sides of my nostrils, and upper lip muscle still not back to normal. Someone called it “whiskers”.. hope all goes back to normal soon. Will continue to use silicone strips/gel, spf, and gentle massaging.

Hello dear , it looks amazing so far, I wanted to know how is the scar healing. Also genuine question do you think you can ever kiss the same after this kind of procedure or does it damage any nerve and you can not fully move your lips like before? Thank you in advance

Hello!! The scar is looking good, it's still red but it's not raised. It's barely noticeable with makeup! It will take few months for the incision to go from red to white color. As for movement, I can do everything as normal! Kiss, eat, drink from a straw, smile, etc. It will take a month or two, but it should go back to normal. Just as long as your doctor doesn't take away too much, and make sure you can still close your lips at rest.
