WORTH IT
Writing this during two-week post-op. I have been following Dr. A on Instagram for quite some time now. I've been wanting to get a lip lift procedure because I wanted my front to show and also want to loo,k more feminine and younger. I emailed them and responded with detailed information about the procedure and payment process the same day. Once they announced that they were reopening after shelter-in-place order, I immediately called and talked to Cathy Getty, the office manager. I have to thank her so much for making sure I was scheduled for June. She goes above and beyond with prompt emails and phone calls. Since I live 2 hours away from the Almonte Center, my initial consultation with Dr. A was through facetime. Dr. A is so cool and down-to-earth, I felt confident and had no doubt I called the right doctor. On the day of the procedure, I thought the office was beautiful and clean, the staffs were friendly and the regular patients seemed to be fond of Dr. A and staff. Because it was my first ever cosmetic surgery, I felt nervous but luckily, surgical tech Smithy, made me feel at ease. She's so sweet. She even put meditation music on and gave me blankets if cold. Dr. A made sure I didn't feel any pain during the procedure. I was daydreaming about Bali while getting my lip lift and I couldn't be any happier to see the post-op look. The overall visit was about 2 hrs. I was noticeably swollen for about a week but barely felt pain. I just felt tight because of the swelling. He used dissolvable sutures which I thought was awesome I didn't have to come back for suture removal. Also, because it is normal to wear a mask outside, I could walk around without anyone knowing I was swollen. Today, I'm on two weeks post-op with no make-up on, my mom keeps looking at me and wondering what I did to my face but couldn't figure it out. I'm like 5% swollen still but I expect this will resolve in due time. I'm sooooo happy with the result! Now I can do a resting b**** face without looking mad, just cute, and maybe sexy. Thank you Dr. A, Cathy, and Smithy! See you in 2 months!

Before vs. 8th day post -op. No make up. I’ve been taking pictures daily. I prefer not to post my whole face but in this picture you will have an idea of how the incision will look like. You can’t really notice it. I have Filipino skin and it healed gracefully. I’ve been very diligent with protecting the incision area: during the first week post-op, I apply anti-bacterial ointment. Now that incision is sealed, I never let the time pass without mederma and vitamin E oil. SPF , wear hat, visor, and face mask when I’m outside.

Amazing! This is exactly the look I'm after. Can I ask how much it cost?

I called it was like 6,500 which is kind of ridiculous compared to the drs in Los angels charging 4,000-4500

You had pretty full lips before! He just yelled them a bit. I'd like to see results for no lips like mine!

How much did he charge? Also are you happy with your results in 2022?? Can you see your skin or do you think it healed well? I want this done but I’m scared of the bottom of my nose looking distorted
