WORTH IT$5,000
Hello all my beautiful people:
I don't think too much has changed with my lip lift since my 1 month update. Maybe a little residual swelling has gone down.
I am very happy. I feel fantastic!
I think my results are relatively subtle but I can see the change :)
Love, K

Almost 1 month post update :)

Hello all! It's been a little less than a month since my procedure and I'm sharing some photos with makeup and lip liner on.
I'm still very happy with the results. Overjoyed, actually!
For the record: my initial measurements (lip had asymmetry): 18 and 20mms
Dr. Saxon took off 5 and 7mms to bring final measurements to 13mms.
(I asked her to be as aggressive as she was comfortable with, as I LOVE the short philtrum look :)
I think the results look less than 13mms? Maybe it's swelling...? Or just my face?
I still have some very slight asymmetry, which may or may not resolve itself, honestly I do not care as my lips were pretty asymmetrical to start with and now they are much less asymmetrical.
The dermal grafts really seem to have added fullness, when I look back at my "before" I'm very happy with the increase in volume from the grafts. Fingers crossed it's not just swelling and the look is here to stay for a while :)
Scar is healing. Tiny little bump under the skin on one side, I don't think it's noticeable to anyone but me, and there is still some slight creasing. To hide it, I put liquid foundation on, touch up with mineral foundation just on the scar, and try to stay out of direct sunlight haha
I see Dr. Saxon on Friday for my 1-month follow up.
Love and support to everyone who is contemplating, has scheduled, is going through recovery, or has had this done :)

You look so pretty! Is your nose that small and cute naturally, or did you have some work on it, too?
January 27, 2020
You are so sweet, thank you!
I've had a septoplasty, rhinoplasty and alar reduction on my nose.
Septoplasty to correct a deviated septum (when I was 18) caused the cartilage above the tip of my nose to collapse, which produced a horrible effect. I looked like a washed-up former boxer.
I had the rhino 3 years later with a different surgeon to reconstruct my nose. He did the best he could, and 6 years after that I had an alar reduction with a different surgeon.
I'm glad that journey is over :/
Again, thank you for your kind words!

Oops, I guess I should have read your full story. In any case, it sounds like your nose ordeal laid off, since it looks so cute and natural. And now you have an Angelina Jolie pout yo go with it.

Such kind words!! Angelina has always been my favorite :) You're a doll!
I'm confident your procedure is going to go very well. It is CRAZY how a lip lift can enhance what you're already rockin'

You look amazing! The shorter philtrum really suits you. And I love how full it made your upper lip look.

Thank you so much!!! I'm very happy. I think you'll be very happy with your results too. I can't wait to see them :)

Looks fantastic! I’ve been sitting on whether I want to get this procedure done or not but now I’m 100 percent positive I want to!

Yay!! That's what this site is for, to help!!
Seriously I'm so very happy with the results from my procedure...I will say a very skilled surgeon that makes you feel comfortable, and communicates well with you, is critical for a great outcome.
I sincerely wish you the best, whatever decision you make :) Please keep us posted on your journey!

Still some swelling on one side that is making my nose look a little funky, and it wasn't the straightest nose to begin with. However I am very happy with the results so far (although it's pretty hard to cover the scar with makeup and I have a big event Thursday- yeek)
The dermal grafts appear to have added quite a bit of volume (I hope it's not just swelling!) which frankly I hope never goes away.
Other notes:
1) I bruise really easily, so I bought 2 packs of SinEcch from Walmart.com (it's Arnica). I do this every time I have a procedure, even filler. I don't know exactly what the company claims it does, but I can say that I did not have even a tiny bruise after the lip lift.
2) Dr. Saxon does dermal grafts rather than fat transfer because of the difficulty in getting the fat to remain in the lips as they are constantly moving. I was skeptical at first but now I think she's on to something. (FYI I had fat transfer to my boobs during lipo and the results were life-changing. Still great 4 years later)
More in a week or so... Love, K

Obviously boobs are quite different from lips haha :) After the fat transfer to the boobs I had to go braless for 2 weeks (made running errands kind of interesting) and I still probably only retained about 30% of what was put in. I'm so thankful to Dr. Saxon for suggesting the grafts as I hope they give me the volume I've been seeking for the last 20 years!!

Your scar is healing nicely, especially for only a couple of weeks post-op. Looking good!

Your lips look beautiful!

Can you please explain what dermal crafts are?? Thank you - you look great!!

Hello, and thank you! They're a little piece of your own skin that your MD takes and puts in your lips. Yeah, I'm not kidding!
Their resilience/effective rate is much higher than fat transfer to the lips, look at it online.
No stiffness or weirdness or anything in your lips, just a little volume boost. My MD, Dr. Saxon, is very skilled in this technique :)
