Hi there are some dots of what they seem like remaining of the external stitches which weren’t all removed probably and they are flat on my skin ! Are they going to fall off by themself? They are not supposed to be removed all but some of the stitches remained there? And the area is still numbed and swell! It is my forth week after the lip lift. Any advise ? My surgeon is not responding and he is in different country .

It takes time. Give it a couple of months. I had a lip lift last November. There is still some numbness. Buy a scar cream and use faithfully. Also, do not get any sun on the scar. Use sunscreen.

Your scars will take time to heal and you should get some scar cream. If your stitches were sup to dissolve and are still there you should see someone they should def be gone after 4 weeks!
