Loving My Results

WORTH IT
A few more pictures Dr. Pearson sent me last night. I’ve been so busy and have a few things I want to share about the procedure and recovery that I think will be beneficial to those looking into getting this done but I will get to that soon. :) Definitely loving my results and have no regrets.

I’m guessing you’re almost one month post op. Have you gone back to work? At what stage did you feel comfortable going out in public again? Does it still feel stiff?

I had my surgery on September 1st. So I’m a little over 1 month post op. I had the surgery on a Friday morning and went back to work Tuesday morning. I do not recommend doing what I did. I wasn’t mentally ready to face the public. I ended up telling the people in my office what I did because it was impossible to hide. When customer would come in I would wear a surgical mask which was irritating. I wore the mask at work for 2 weeks - I had the stitches in for 1 week and then the following week I had surgical tape glued to the incision site. Take at least 1 week off for the procedure!

Day 3

I still look like a little gerbil from the swelling but I can smile! Yay! Really looking forward to taking a shower tonight and washing my hair. Also, I haven’t bruised at all that I can tell. Probably from the Arnica and pineapple? I go back to work tomorrow. With a surgical mask. Not looking forward to that.
