Worst Decision Ever
Let me start off by stating that I have never left a bad review for any business or an establishment before and I’m going out my way to make one on all the sites! That’s how horrible my recent experience here was. So I got permalip( a silicone inserted into my lips that are supposed to looked natural and last longer than fillers). Before I can even schedule the procedure I had to pay $100 just to sit and talk to Dr. Garcia. I made it very clear that I wanted the results to look natural and subtle, I said it so much I felt as if it would I was getting on his nerves but I wanted to be clear on exactly I wanted. I felt very rushed during our appointment, as if he didn’t even want to be there.I also asked about the downtime and when it would look natural. He looked me right in my face and said “two weeks with SLIGHT swelling that would settle over time”. Excuse my French but the [RS bleep] lies !!!!! I was told minutes before my procedure by the head nurse, who I loved by the way, that my lips would be hard and I would feel lumps for close to six months but still look natural. Just founding this information out wanted me to back out but I had already paid all my money at that point so I decided to continue with the procedure, If you’re reading this please and I mean PLEASE go with your gut feeling! Now if you pay $100 just to sit to someone you would think they would mention that right? And no I didn’t think to ask that cause I have no clue who would agree to something like that. After two weeks and couple days my lips were extremely swollen, lumpy , uneven and a part of my lip is hanging on my top left side. Oh and on top of all that I couldn’t even open my lips to smile with out looking like a clown… still can’t. I went in for my second post-op appointment when the told me my lips were basically going to stay swole and be uneven for almost six months. That’s when I finally learned the real “downtime”. While explaining my frustration Dr. Garcia tried to tell me that we agreed on the size silicone to put in my pops which we NEVER did. I heard him mention to nurse before my procedure what sizes he was using and again I should of listened to my gut but instead I decided to trust the surgeon I paid over $4000 to make this decision. One of my biggest mistakes and regret. Now it’s been a month and my lips still look the same from week two and doesn’t look natural what so ever. On top off all the money I spent and the mental toll this whole experience has gave me, they basically told me nothing can be done about it. Now I have to take off more time and spend more money just to get them remove somewhere else in a few weeks, when he should be the one fixing his mistake. This has taught me so much!!! Ladies if you’re reading and you think you need work done you don’t ! Trust me the grass is not always greener and I would never get work done again. Just don’t go here. Trust me I wish I would of been warned before I did.
