I had a very disappointing experience with Lindsey Hunter and feel it’s important to share it for others considering treatment.

I originally came in to have my lips corrected after a previous filler appointment with her left me with uneven results, noticeable lumps, and an overfilled “duck lip” appearance. I waited nearly a year, hoping the filler would naturally dissolve, but it did not improve.

When I returned for a consultation, the interaction was uncomfortable from the start. Lindsey’s demeanor felt dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of reviewing my treatment history thoroughly (including before-and-after photos), she appeared focused on deflecting responsibility for the outcome, flipping through so many pictures and not allowing me to see what i was asking for.

I had informed her assistant ahead of time that I had a cold sore, so I understood that no corrective procedure could be done that day. However, the way this was addressed felt unnecessarily blunt and insensitive. She said let's address the elephant in the room, your cold sore.

More concerning was that Lindsey attributed the poor results to my supposed history of repeated procedures, implying that I had caused damage through over-treatment. This is inaccurate—I have had lip filler only a handful of times, and not on a frequent or excessive basis. When I clarified this, her response felt dismissive.

She also made comments about my age, bone loss, and facial changes in a way that felt inappropriate and personal, rather than constructive or solution-oriented. This conversation took place in front of my 19-year-old daughter, which made the experience even more uncomfortable.

At no point did I feel that my concerns were acknowledged or validated. A more professional approach would have been to review the results objectively, discuss possible causes, and offer solutions—even if that meant simply acknowledging that the outcome was not ideal.

Instead, I left feeling discouraged, disrespected, and unheard.

I would encourage anyone seeking cosmetic treatments to ensure they are working with a provider who communicates with empathy, professionalism, and accountability.
