1 syringe last week - developed a bump on my right side of my bottom lip

ORIGINAL POST

Trying to Figure out What This Bump Is?

I got 1 syringe of lip fuller last Wednesday (so six days ago) & I have recently just developed a bump on my right side of my bottom lip. It’s kinda sore but on a scale of 1-10 I would say 3. More bothersome then painful.

Kinda resembles a blister/ bump? To me it sort of looks off whiteish … kinda which is why it looks like a slight blister. I had sort of lightly bit at my lips two days ago and peeled them slightly when they were dry. Kind of confused if this is normal as I’ve never done any filler or anything before. Will it go away? Does it look alarming? Help lol

I can't believe no one has responded to you! Okay, this is a potential side effect of fillers. Call your injector's office. They should have you come in so they can try to work the lump out using some massage techniques. Do NOT massage them yourself unless they give you specific instructions to do so. Keep your lips moist, drink lots of water for hydration. Fillers feed on that hydration. Your injector should have warned you about this possibilty. You may want to try a different place in the future, if they didn't give you all the info. Good luck!
