Update....Lip Blush or Not?

Day 6....after lip blushing. The pain is finally gone. Only a constant dry, tight feeling on top lip. Like a severe chapped lip healing.

Most of the color seems to be gone, but I was told this would happen. Color should return.

Lip Blush or Not?

I have been dying to do lip tinting. I'm 50 yr old, I wanted a more low maintenance daily routine. It hurts! I have a pretty high pain tolerance especially if it's something I know will pay off in the end. But this hurts.

She numbed my lips and continued to do so throughout the process.. sometimes I felt nothing other times painful.

My lips swelled! Not so much until a few hours and next 2 days. I looked like Janice on the Muppets!

Oozing for first few hours. Ice helped tremendously with pain. Swelling just took time to go away. The real pain and discomfort is through the night. I have not slept in 4 days. It has gotten better. It feels like a severe case of chapped lips. Or a burn on my lips. The flaking is annoying. Flaking started around day 3.

I think I will like the color after all the healing. I haven't noticed much color loss or change.

I have a touch up appointment in a few weeks to fill in any spots, not sure I'm going back. its very painful.
