Cupid’s Bow Definition
I do like my lips because they’re pretty full but nonetheless I wear almost every day lip liner to define them more, since my Cupid’s bow isn’t that pigmented naturally and they look a lot better with a touch of gloss and lip liner.
Regarding the color, I feel that my skin complexion is on the warmer side, so I would like to get a color that isn’t too pink because I feel that it wouldn’t match.

Day of treatment
The procedure (although I have herpes!)
2 days before my appointment I got a small cold sore on the corner of my mouth and asked the technician if I should cancel my appointment.
She told that I could do the lip blushing nonetheless because my Herpes was very small and on the corner of my mouth. She also said that I should go to my doctors office to get a prescription medicine called “Aciclovir”.
My doctor told me to take the medicine 10 days, 2 x per day.
When I arrived at my technicians studio, she cleaned my skin, outlined my lips with a white pen and then we choose a color.
She only showed me 4 color… I thought it was a small range of selection but I liked them all except for a very pinkish color.
I chose a warm tone…
The procedure was painful but bearable. The technician did 2 layers of colors and it took around 1 hour.
I didn’t tell my boyfriend that I was going to have this procedure done but since they were so swollen I couldn’t hide it and had to tell him. He was pretty pissed and annoyed haha.

For the first 3 days I hated how my lips looked because they looked overlined, matte and unnatural…
One week after the procedure they look totally different! I love how natural they look and that the color fits my skin tone… I also like that they look more defined than before.
I don’t know why but my lips didn’t peel/got chapped that much. The healing process was no big deal. I used mainly Aquaphor to keep them moisturized and drank through a straw to avoid water on them.

What happened to your upper lip in the photo with the green highlight? That looks scary
