I was super excited to book an appointment with this place because their Instagram before/afters are hella impressive. They got me in really quickly, but I should've known how unprofessional they are from the start. I had to have a virtual consultation with them over Facetime which I was fine with - they told me the appointment would be at 10am, so I was waiting.. 11 o'clock came around and still no word from them, so I called there and at first they had no idea what consultation I was talking about, but finally they were like "okay, we should be able to Facetime you at around 12". So okay, fine. The actual Facetime consultation happened some time around 1pm. When speaking to Julia (I believe that was her name?), she told me how much it'd be and then told me to make an appointment online and confirm it.. I was confused because I already had a set appointment the next day? So I told her that, and she looked around through her laptop for a bit til she finally found it.
Oookay, should've seen the warning signs there but I gave them the benefit of the doubt.
Long story short - I went to my appointment, got there 15 minutes early like they told me to, they also mentioned calling before you get there due to Covid so I did. When I called, they asked why I was calling lmao (?? they make no sense but ok), so I let them know that I was there for my appointment - the lady who answered the phone was like, "what's your name again? I'm not seeing your name down for an appointment" so I repeated it and she told me to wait downstairs in the lobby, then come up in about 10 minutes.
When I finally got up there, I had to deal with the lovely front desk staff who insisted I had no appointment that day despite me showing them the texts and emails confirming it. Some guy named Ky told me "I don't know what to tell you, but we can't get you in today". I mean, really? I took a Lyft there, wasted time and money for nothing. I kept asking if there was any way they could fit me in, even though I had this appointment and even had to put down $100 for a down payment, but nope. Ky insisted there was no way. No one else there would talk to me, and when I asked to speak to the manager, they ignored me. The rudeness was insane.
I asked for a refund of my down payment then, since it was their fault that they're unprofessional and can't keep track of the appointments they book, to which I was told I should get a receipt within 10 minutes and money back in my account within 3-5 business day. Still no receipt or money back. I keep trying to get ahold of them, but they just continue to tell me they'll call me back and never do.
Literally the worst place I've ever been to, and I've gone to a lot of cosmetic places (not even just in Illinois). 0/10, I'd never recommend it to anyone.
There's so many legit places out there, so please consider one of those instead.
Side note: since they seemed so "concerned" about Covid, they shouldn't have had their small office packed with patients. Definitely not healthy, even with a mask on.
