New lips coming soon & trying to stay brave about it !!!!!!

One is with & without a lip pump*******Update pics with injections to come!***** I have been impressed with Dr. Pastrick's credentials for several years now. I met with him initially over a completely different procedure that I chickened out of , but decided I liked him & his staff so much that IF I ever did have anything enhanced , he would be the man for the job!!!! Fast forward a few years later & here I am with a different desire & this time its my lips! I am nervous as everyone is , but booked my appointment for myself AND my best friend & we're doing this together lol Scheduled for St. Patricks day & I am excited ! I have wanted bigger , fuller lips for a long time now & even have a pricey lip pump (which is epic for the 30-60 minutes while it last) I have ultimately decided that the pumping jazz isn't worth the effort ,with it being so temporary & its time to go for the real deal now!!! I love this site very much & it has been my "go to" for both procedures I have considered .

Lip injections done today !! WOW! I have to say that the process of having it done was definitely interesting .... I had one syringe of Juvederm injected around the vermilion border , top & bottom lip. I would say he had to use more in my upper lip because it was so thin & curled in SMH!!! He used a dental block beforehand , followed by numbing cream . I can NOT imagine anyone doing this without some form of numbing agent..... For me the feeling of the juvederm filling my lips was the worst part. I wasn't a fan of feeling the dental block injection either.POSITIVE NOTE!!!! I am excited about my new lips & I am beyond happy with my PS. I will be going to him in the future for injections when needed & the BA I have been wanting forever . I also got Botox between my brows .

First full day with my new Dr.Pastrick lips & I am loving them ! Last night however , was really painful . I would have rated it at an 8. I was swollen so badly that my lips felt like they were going to explode & I took some ibuprofen & continued to ice my lips . I couldn't sleep because they hurt so badly . The regret was almost real !!!!!!!! For me the pain scale went from 2-3 after injections , Then as the night went on full blown 8-10 . Today Hallelujah pain scale is a 0-2!!!!!!! They are taking shape beautifully & bruising for me is at a minimum so far.
