This was my first time ever having anything done to my lips

As someone who has always had extremely thin lips, I was thrilled when Dr. Anna Avaliani did my injections. I thought I looked so great and that the swollen look would go away. Over time I noticed my injections looked different than other’s and I didn’t understand why. I recently went to another doctor to get my lips touched up and they said they didn’t feel comfortable injecting anything into my upper lip due to the severe upper migration. I just called Dr. Anna Avaliani a few moments ago, explained my situation (expecting the receptionist to offer a dissolver for free) and she said it would cost about $600+ to fix the mistake Dr. Avaliani made. I am lost for words. I paid so much money to have these injections done by a well-known and established doctor in NYC and am absolutely devastated by the results. Looking back on the original photo I posted, I now see it from a completely different perspective. Do you notice the puffiness above my upper lip? That never went away…. and in fact got worse. And they want to charge me $600+ to fix a mistake they made…….. I now have to put lip liner over it to try and make it look like it is part of my lip. I feel uncomfortable writing a negative review like this but hopefully it will keep someone else from making the same mistake I did.

This was my first time ever having anything done to my lips and I was incredibly nervous. Dr. Avaliani made me feel calm and the experience was enjoyable and painless. I'm very happy with the results and will be returning in a few months. Would highly recommend!
