Office review: disappointing - was a no-show

I entered an Instagram giveaway to receive lip filler and botox at a discounted price that Katherine had posted on her page. A few days later Katherine texted me asking if I was interested in the special and we booked my appointment via text. She then said she needed me to Venmo her the full cost of the service ($625) to reserve my spot. I agreed, sent the money, and showed up 3 weeks later to my appointment... NOBODY WAS THERE! Windows covered with blackout curtains, no one answering the door, and Katherine not answering her cell phone (which she conducts all of her business from).My mind was racing, assuming I had been scammed and wondering how I could have been so stupid to send her my money without any hesitation. I knocked and called for 45 minutes before leaving, still unable to contact anyone. I drove over an hour for this appointment on a Friday afternoon in rush hour. She texted me as I was halfway home saying that she had had a family emergency and that someone from her office should have reached out to me that morning.I never received a confirmation or reminder regarding my appointment and especially nothing from her “staff” that day about rescheduling. She apologized and offered to get me back in and give me free botox or to refund me. I replied simply with “I would like a full refund” and she thankfully sent it back immediately. End of conversation. A few days later I’m telling my friends about it and went to show them her Instagram business page and she had BLOCKED my account!Why would you block me Ms. Katherine? I was kind and respectful in every interaction I had with you, even while wasting my Friday afternoon trying to locate you! Everything about her business and professionalism scream phony to me. She had me pay her $625 up front to even make an appointment, was a no-show for the appointment, texted me to address the issue, and then blocked my account.I can’t speak to her talent because she was not there to perform the service, but I can say that there are other injectors in the LR area who WILL value your time and business. And that do it much cheaper might I add.
