I am all healed up and the infection is gone! I have to say I feel really good. My neck pain is almost gone and my breathing is better. I would say it was worth it. The only problem I'm having is the scarring. I am using scar creams, but the scars are pretty bad. I'm hoping they will soften and fade over time, but as of now they don't seem to be. If I had to do it again, I would. The pain was minimal and I feel so much better now.

5 months? Do you think this is because of the infection? My recovery time was a long time last time, but I did far too much to soon - with this time I've been told to do nothing strenuous for at least 12 weeks, so I'm taking it really easy this time, I'm going to be 8wks post this Thursday, I'm just starting to do some walking gently, I soon tire but that is due to the loss of blood and the blood transfusion and iron tablets Im having to take, still have the odd stitch poking out and pussing a little but I keep bathing them in salt water which seems to be helping, all in all not bad.. glad your better, have you got a photo of them?
I went back to work too soon as well. I requested to return 10 days post op, and I have . a physical job. If I had to do it again, I would take it easy. All in all, I'm glad I did it. Why are you doing it again?
Because he only made me 2 sizes smaller the first time, I was a 30 HH then became a FF and now I'm wearing a high impact sports bra from M&S in a 34 C till the swelling completely goes down then think I'll be a 30D possibly DD, the size I requested the first time
:-) they are quite sore today just from walking! Wow 10 days? I thought 3 wks was too soon last time! What size do you think you are now?
Why dont they give an iron infusion its better then taking those iron pills
Had my blood test done on Thurs and I no longer need the pills :-) I will be 11 weeks post on 1st Feb and I'm definately feeling a whole lot better - how are you doing?
Congrats happy to hear your doing well

8 Weeks Post Op

I have had some issues with the bottom of my breast where the "t" meets. Some staph infection and redness. My body seems to be rejecting the stitches so I've gotten little bumps on the skin where a stitch is about to pop out. It's not painful, just a little uncomfortable. As of now, I have pretty think, dark scars under my breasts, but I'm hoping to be able to use the silicone strips soon to soften the scars. All in all I've had a pretty good recovery. I think my scars are getting better and better, just taking a bit longer than I had anticipated.

What is this?

3 weeks post op today. Pain is minimal and I returned to work early. Tonight I looked at my incision and saw this white spot. I feel fine. Should I be worried?
