want to get your dreams crushed? best dr for you

I had done my research for v-line surgery and read quite good reviews about Dr JK Lee's work. We communicated during several months and then decided on a surgery date. I flew all the way from Sweden to Seoul by myself. When I had the first consultations I got the impression that he was always in a rush and didn't want to give me the time and information that I, in my vulnerable state during the most important surgery of my life, required. He always had a patronising tone when answering my questions. I should've left while I could, but stupidly I hoped that this would not effect his quality as a surgeon.
We went through with the surgery and I had a horrible recovery and Dr Lee responded to my distress with not even a slight attempt of empathy or a will to help. A couple of months later I noticed a crookedness on the right side of my jaw after the swelling somewhat had passed. I desperately convinced myself that it was just some left-over swelling. Now more than one year post-surgery I've realised that it wasn't just swelling. There's not much wrong with my left side, but on my right side there's a big bulky piece of bone that's weirdly puzzled on top of the jaw. I can't even begin to express the defeat I felt after this cruel reality hit me.
I doesn't look or feel right. The extreme asymmetry and crookedness is very visible, especially in photos taken straight forward. I'm trying to grasp how someone can feel that amount of indifference towards people to do a thing like this. I feel extremely downhearted that I saved up for this procedure and traveled across the world to a recommended surgeon to later receive a haphazardly done surgery in return.
I spoke to Lee last week and told him about my disappointment. My expectations of a professional doctor that shows accountability for his mistakes were, as you can guess, definitely not present talking to Lee. His answers were short and without any will to compensate me for all the damage he's done.
If you are someone who's thinking of doing the same surgery, PLEASE save yourself the suffering and pick someone who's professional and knows his craft.
