A year later. Overall, it's fine but I'm still numb towards the center right below my belly button. The first pic is before the tummy tuck, then it's the pic right after the tummy tuck (gross), the third is 3 months after the tuck, and the last is 9 months. I'll post a year update soon.

4 Months Post TT

I'm four months TT. Still a little swollen but not as bad. I still have an area below by belly button which feels harder than the rest of my tummy so I've been using a heat pad and daily massages to help it. Overall, I'm finally starting to fee like it's worth it.

I'm having my hernia repaired to and was wondering does that add to the pain?
January 14, 2016
Hi- it doesn't add to the pain. I didn't feel a thing. The pain comes from my the actual tummy tuck itself.

are you still wearing yuor compression suit?
January 18, 2016
Yes! I had it adjusted because it doesn't fit anymore. I get swollen without it and I'm still not 100% straight- about 90%. I still feel like I'm "stretching". I still use my white binder when I don't feel like wearing the suit.

I feel like my suit doesn't squeeze my belly in but I have such a big ass and thighs I don't know how to get it tighter
January 18, 2016
Lol I have the same problem- I bought a smaller one and my thighs were too tight to the point I felt like I lost circulation. I went to a taylor and he shorten the torso for me and took it in on the sides to make it smaller.

To make it smaller on the waist and shorten the torso because it was too long :)

If you are back in Elizabeth. Isabella can recommend someone to fix it. I also heard of a place called The Pink Room in Union that will taylor any compressor to your specs. That's my next stop

You results look great. How are your scars healing? Mine are darkening a bit. Just wondering if that is normal.

You look great!!!! Are you doing anything extra?
October 27, 2015
Thank you- my I get full a lot quicker so I'm eating much lighter which resulted in weight loss of the TT

Plar1208- mine was a really dark ugly scar- it's a little lighter but still noticeable- I'll do a comparison soon from the start but the initial pictures are really gross :(

you look great!!! I am planning mine in the coming months with Dr. Alkon as well. I wanted to know, what was your overall experience with him, and also in terms of recovery, when were you really able to go back to work, assuming you work here i guess. Thanks so much!!!! you look fantastic and we have similar builds so my before (or my current) is similar to yours.

Thanks! Recovery went well- I had a problem but it wasn't his fault and he did a good job in making sure I was ok. Overall, the TT experience with Alkon was good. He knows what he's doing and does it well. You won't regret it! I went back to work in 2 weeks but honestly-3 weeks is better if you can. I went back to work and walked very gingerly. The drains were out within 2 weeks.

Thanks great to know! I am planning a total of 18 days home counting weekends and holidays. If I need I will just play it by ear. Thanks so much for responding!
