So I am deciding to write this because I love how people give honest answers in the comments section about procedures that people have done.
I know there are a ton of girls with much bigger breasts than me getting reductions. But for my frame, I feel like a 34DD is just too big for me. I have constant upper back and neck issues. At least twice a month I have knots. The last straw was pretty much in the beginning of April when I got a knot and muscle pull in the side of my neck and couldn't look left for 3 days! THREE. DAYS. It was the worst- I went to the chiro and asked him if it could be because of my breast size and he said most likely... especially since these knots are constant.
The next day I made appointments for 2 consultations with 2 different doctors. One doctor was a plastic surgeon in Manhattan and the other was one in New Jersey. I decided to go with the Dr. in NJ.
I think I went for my initial consultation on April 10th and scheduled my surgery for May 19th. SO FAST!!! that is exactly THREE days from now!
I have done nothing in the last couple days but obsessively look up hundreds of BR experiences, pictures, results, complications... you name it- i have looked it up.

FUN FACT- i went to Target today to buy some cheap smaller wire free bras.It was oddly liberating to pay $14.99 for a small(er) sized bra. But most of the wire0free bras are super stretchy material anyway. I tried them all on today when I got home and most of them actually fit my size now..again, just because they are basically made out of 100% spandex. I feel like i could fit in them if I were like a 40H. Maybe that's stretching it though.. I mean they obviously provide little to absolutely NO support. but whatev.

ANYWAY- perhaps I shall post something the night before my surgery.. I am getting more excited. I am also getting MARRIED on august 29th so I really wanted to get this done super fast before the wedding. and hey I'll have a summer filled with cute bikini tops that I won't be spilling out of! woo hoo!

I'm including some before pics below.

Oh to be 34DD! LOL I was when I got married (age 22).... but yes, I did have horrid shoulder/neck stuff way back then so I totally can understand where you are coming from. I also had to get a wedding dress sizes too big just to accommodate my chest and pay for alterations. YOU will not have to go through that! Yay!!! I've grown to a G-cup now (age 36, two kids) and needing a 32 band. So put me in the (boobs are too big for frame) camp. Best wishes for a safe and successful surgery, quick and uncomplicated recovery and the beautiful outcome you desire!

Thanks for the kind words! Amd yeah I ordered my wedding dress a size bigger to accommodate for my boobs... I was going to have to get it altered anyway. Guess they'll just have to alter it more! Can't wait to be smaller though!

I am a 36DD and just went for my consultation the other day. I saw your pictures and was like "no way! She has my boobs!" Haha. I have the same experience as yours, and I am constantly thinking if they are big enough for surgery. But every time I think of going through with it, it feels right. Plus, those cute bikini tops are calling ;) Good luck with the surgery, and please please post updates on your progress!

Hi! That's funny because I actually had a similar experience a few days ago with seeing some girls boobs on this site that were exactly like mine! I go in in just a few hours! I will definitely post pictures and updates!! I seriously cannot wait!

Tomorrow/today is the day!

It's now 11:11pm the night before my surgery. I jave to be to the hospital at 7am for 9am surgery! I am so excited. I'm not excited about all the scars, bruising, and pain that will come this week though! But I know that after everything is said and done, it will be completely worth it! I'll be able to wear whatever I want and not have to worry about what bra I'm wearing... most importantly it'll alleviate a ton of back pain! Woo 10 hours from now!

Holy pain!

erinsarah419
I actually wrote this whole review on my phone then it got deleted... and I really don't want to write it again but I'll sum it up. I am in pain and have a 101.8 fever. My left nipple is really burning. I took some percoset for pain but I don't think it really did much. I have drains in right now bu as you can see, my gross boobie juice isn't making it to the drain bag.. it's just stick in the tube. So I dunno.
I just realized I don't own very many baggy shirts... so I'm in my "cats are so in right meow" forever21 sleep shirt... and I'll probably be in it until I go to the doc on Friday. Funtimes. And you can't even go out of the house because bloody drain bags are blood. Nobody wants to see that!

Who is your doctor? I'm in Ocean County, NJ and grew up in Union County. I am in search of a good doctor

Also, did insurance pay (I have constant knots, and PT suggested to get regular massages to reduce the pain and rotated disc in my neck
May 31, 2015
I used Dr. Alkon in Linden. No Ins didn't pay. IF they paid then the amount they would require to remove from each breast would put me at a small B cup, which I didn't want.

With my drains, they instructed to "milk" the tubes to get blockage out. Basically, Start high up and pinch while sliding down the tube (like you would a freeze pop). Would that help? Rest, rest , rest. You look so small!
