I am super excited and nervous at the same time and I am hoping I can help tell my journey so maybe other people can get a clear understanding of the process and what to expect.
I've watched and review numerous doctors that offer this procedure and decided to stay local and have a consultation with Dr. Joseph D. Alkon. His office is an hour away from me and I figured that would be best for me since if I had to fly somewhere else and get the surgery done it's not easy for follow up and etc.. Especially when you want to have the massages and etc. SO closer is better for me. My first contact with him was via email and he himself responded right away and I thought that was very personal. I did the consult Feb. 17, 2017 and I booked the surgery Yesterday for September.

It's getting close I've been reading so many blogs about what's needed and I did invest in a gravity chair which I plan to cut out a hole for my butt. Go in Sept 1st for pre op appt. can't wait to get rid of this belly. Dr. Alkon said I didn't need to lose weight I am 5'3" 186 at the time of my appt and I want to be at 180 by the appt.
