Overall I'm very curvy now but I don't have any real projection in my butt. Getting a second procedure done in December I'm not sure if I will be using Dr. Alkon

I am 4 weeks post op and very unhappy with the results. I brought a new garment because the one Dr.alkon gave new as uncomfortable and painful. The new garment made me look more shaply but without the garment I still have no shape. I still have hip dips (they are ALOT smaller but still visible) I do not have any hips, which was what I really wanted! My butt looks flat almost! I know I just wasted 10,000 because all I wanted was a big butt and hips and what I got was a wide butt!
I had an infection in my belly button and dr. Alkon took out my stitches now I have a huge whole in my stomach. It's just so many things wrong Im far from happy!

I'm so sorry this happened.try going to dr.ghurani,i went to him or dr ortega at spectrum.they do online consultation.it's way cheaper and i have met people in person that had bbls from both of them and the results were great

Hi rickyis. I had a consultation with Dr. Alkon and with his discouragement, I chose another surgeon. I'm 5'6 and weigh 185 and Dr. Alkon told me to loose 20 pds. I thought any doctor would need all the fat they could harvest on a woman's body. I wasted my $110.00 consultation and chose another doctor. I'm glad i did because i had 2750ccs in each cheek. After the inflammation and swelling went down months later i now have nice hips and a big booty. Althought I didn't care for Dr. Alkon it's important that the shape of your but prior to sx is nice. We all have different shape buts, long, not so attractive looking even after a bbl. You'll have the fat transfered but unshapely still. Good luck in your new search of Dr's. There are so many great PS... Happy Healing...

A skilled bbl doctor will know how to give a patient an hour glass figure. I'm actually very shapely over all (now) but I have no side projection in my butt and no hips. I knew I would need a second procedure because I don't know many fat cells in my butt for fat cells to attach too, but I figured I would have at least some side projection and hips. My side projection is very similar to what is was pre-bbl.
I plan on going to a different doctor but I want to warn people that a nice doctor doesn't make a good Doctor

Hi, thank you for sharing, I had a tummy tuck and lipo with Alkon and I am pretty happy, I have some areas I am not sure but I am 94 percent happy, keep in mind our bodies are all different and some woman have the hour glass shape pretty much but the bbl enhances it. I really see your concerns, please take the best care of yourself in your recovery and pamper yourself - Dr Alkon is fair and will work with you as much as he can, I truely believe that he wants you to be happy as well as all of his patients.

Dr. Alkon is a great person but compared to other doctors he is not very skilled at the bbl procedure on people who don't already have a curvy shape. The bbl procedure along with a tummy tuck should not yield results similar to mine regardless how they were originally shaped. I have done ALOT of research about the bbl procedure and that's not what the procedure is for. So you could have kept your ignorant comment to your self.

So I'm officially 12 days post op and I'm feeling a little more positive. I talked to Dr. Alkon and he "said" what I was concerned about was nothing to be concerned about. I felt dicouraged seeing someone who was in his office that was one day post op and her results looked great.
I'm still not happy with my results but I'm starting to like them a little more. On my 7th day post op I got my garment, so that has been helping.
The pictures I'm posting are 9 days post op. At 12 days post op I'm a little less swelled but it's not a huge difference. I still have one drain (hopefully he removes the second drain on Wednesday), which is extremely annoying.

That's good. I have a consult with him on July 27th but I'm thinking of going with Dr Miami...

I wanted to go to dr Miami but it takes almost two years to get an appointment for the actual surgery, with him, dr.curves in Atlanta is good also (I never had a consultation with him)
