Built small, ok with size, but way too floppy from getting preclampsia during pregnancy with cause extreme weight gain (about 25 pounds) in just a few hours, causing skin to stretch severely. I was 130 but had to quit smoking to in order to have surgery safely, during the process of quiting I gained 10 pounds so I weighed about 140 during surgery. I have had 2 c-sections and was pretty nervous about the surgery. Many people I have read reviews on complain about the pain of the tummy tuck and in my case there was very little pain so far in recovery, I am 2 weeks out right now. I don't know if the fact of having a prior c-sections helps prepare for the pain or if I am luckily responding well to the procedure.

Congrats on quitting smoking and getting this done! Ten extra pounds is a lot healthier than the smoking, so don't feel bad about that. I think you look great! Glad the recovery hasn't been too bad.

I'm having my tummy tuck/breast augmentation on January 22nd. I had toxemia/preeclampsia during my first pregnancy as well and had to put hospitalized and put on strict bed rest. I gained about 45 in 4 weeks because my kidneys had all but shut down and had to lay on my left side that whole month unless I was in the bathroom or taking a shower. As you probably know since your experience was similar my tummy was never the same (ended up having two C-sections) Now that the holidays are behind me I'm starting to get excited but also freaking out!! I'm glad to hear that you weren't in too much pain. Your results look really great!!

That story sound very familiar! I really think that if you can handle the first c section you'll be just fine. It's important to try and be patient with your body afterwards. I still am bigger then pre surgery and yes I look better but there's something about the scale and pant size I can't get over. I am so happy I did it. And would do it again in a heart beat! Make sure you have lots of help the first week! Good luck!
