14 Day Update Manual Draining

I had a lymphatic drainage massage with Garrett's Healing Hands yesterday and it was great. Today I went in to see Nurse Lee (such a nice lady) and got some remaining fluid drained. She used the largest needle and syringe I have ever seen to take out the fluid from my lower abdomen. (I had about 2 syringes full.) It actually didn't hurt too much. Nurse Lee was gentle. She told me the swelling in my abdomen is just inflation and not a seroma so there was no fluid to take from there.

12 Days. Seromas still here.

I told Nurse Lee about my seromas (large pockets of fluid) last week and I was directed to wear lipofoam. I had already been wearing the lipo foam and compression board prior to the advice. Several days later, the seromas are just becoming more painful. Between them and my still healing burns, wearing my compression is difficult. (I had to stop the prescription burn medicine because it was giving me a very bad reaction. It was making my skin burn and causing me headaches. The medicine is actually used for heart issues. Scary. ) Nurse Lee has now given me an appointment to get the seroma drained.

7 Days Post

Work in process. I am going to continue to go down. I am dealing with a 2 seromas (1 in front and one in the back) and a few burns (you can see them on my sides clearly) which make compression even more difficult because I am still very sore. I did get prescription for the burns from Dr. Boutte's office and am using lipo foam for the seromas. I am going to schedule some lymphatic massages next week.
