2 days pre-op! I am Super nervous and excited. I had my final consultation last week where I decided between 385ccs or 435. My doctor had me try on both sizes so I could make a more sound decision, thank goodness. I am 5'2", 130lbs, no kids, with 36 A's. I will also be going with sub muscular and infra mammary. I am really hoping for a Full C, maybe small D. I am Super scared for the post op experience (I don't have much of a pain tolerance plus my job requires physical fitness). How long do I need to rest before I can start safely exercising?

I started walking day 3 it was tiring for the first week. I did lower body a week later although mild for first couple of weeks. I returned to work after 9 days with no troubles. I did a lot of squats and band work to start with. Happy and safe healing to you.

Hi ladies! My pain is minimal. I have been taking my meds as prescribed which has helped a lot. Plus, I'll include an ibuprofen when I become more uncomfortable. I've been placing cold packs on in attempt to get the swelling to go down. My boyfriend has been a huge help- he set his alarm for the middle of the night so I could take my meds. The first day he spoon fed me and took wonderful care of me. On my second day post op my stubborn self decided to get out of bed by myself so I could grab a bite to eat. I was walking around for no more than five minutes when I started to feel faint and nauseous, so I quickly made my way to the bathroom. I got on my knees and hovered over the toilet. Next thing I know I hear my boyfriend yelling my name. I had fainted hitting the edge of the bath tub with the upper portion of my breast. Talk about pain! All is well and I am completely fine. Long story short- ladies- even if you are little Miss independent it is okay to ask for help- I just learned the hard way!

Glad you're ok! I'll have to keep that in mind since it will be super weird having to depend on other people for the simplest tasks. I'll be getting my BA tomorrow, so I'm glad to have read your experience. So scared! Hope you have a smooth recovery! No more trying to be Miss Independent! Happy healing :) Can't wait to see how they look!

Feeling soo much better. My swelling has gone down a lot. However, they are still incredibly sensitive. I've been taking Motrin which has helped with the swelling and it's been controlling my pain. I have one more week before my stitches are removed. I'm loving my new twins, I'm just hoping that as the swelling continues to go down that I don't lose any more than a cup. Just out of curiosity I got sized at Victoria secret and I'm now a 36DD = 34DDD! Crazy. I'd be completely content if I could end up as a 36D. Can't wait for these bad boys to settle!
Definitely check with your doctor about when you can return to exercising. Many women wait a few weeks and then gradually ease into their routines but you really don't want to overdo it the first month or so as you don't want to risk ruining your new look. Good luck today and feel free to join a the May 2015 breast augmentation forum to find some surgery buddies!
