Well on May 21st went back to be seen by Dr. Thompson. This was the most talkative he's ever been. I really liked the more interaction. I have been dealing with a small under left breast open sore. Like I said before almost like a cigerette burn size directly under breast dead center. Of course the most inconvenient place that thing could reside! Right wear the breast touches the point of being skin on skin w/o a bra. And right at the most friction point where the cup meets the band, ugh! So I was prescribed a RX of mupirocin ointment 2% apply 2-3 times a day. If no improvement in three weeks come back in. Other wise I don't have to go back till June appointment. Stay wearing compression bra until instructed otherwise. I'm doing pretty good I think for the time it's been since surgery other than that damn small wound! No one wants an open wound. The chance of a secondary infection is not off the table. So I'm having to be quite mindful of dressing changes, washed hands, always a fresh wash cloth, towel, bra, well its getting old. I'm really ready to be able to take a bubble bath or use our hot tub. Plus I'm tired of stressing out over a possible infection! The doctor also said no bicicle, weight lifting, or running for at least 8 weeks maybe more like 10 weeks... that's half the summer:( I want to thank all of the precious ladies whom have been on this site. Angels you are. It's made this crazy ride less bumpy:-)

Boy, you have been through the wringer that's a fact! I'm so glad you finally got rid of them. I know since mine have been gone, July 25th, I feel so light and so much better. I guess so, I was naturally barely an A and ended up a DD. On my little frame it looked like I was going to fall forward. I literally hated them, but I have to say they were first a small C, my stupid idea to go bigger. Happy you're on the other side with a lot of the rest of us. God Bless!

I arrived on time for my noon appointment, the husband drove. I was seen by the surgeons nurse whom is also his wife. Her name is Mary she's quite nice, very sweet lady she looked everything over & removed the stitches. The right side had me yelp out loud but it was a quick short lived pain kinda like pulling off a big band-aid.! Next the left it was less of a noise, like a small band-aid. She told me to put aquaphor on with a 3 by 3 under breast for further healing & to promote less friction & less scar. I had one spot of a small open wound ( like a cigerette burn for a visual) she said if that wasn't healing in a week to come back. I left feeling good about the appointment.

I'm the same way! It's challenging to do so at times.

I agree with Explanting Texan - your story and the way you told it would be hilarious! ... Except for the fact that you had to suffer through 2x implants, a deflation and CC. :( Jeez. At least your funny/sad story has a happy explant ending :) best wishes on your healing and recovery!
