43 Y/o Mother of 4. 4 C-sections, Large Hernia Repair 10 Years Ago, & Total Hysterectomy

After thinking about this for years I have decided to pull the trigger ( 8k IS A LOT OF MONEY WHEN YOU HAVE 4 KIDS). Im 1 year 7 months post TAH. Crazy weight up and down 45 pounds btw babies, then a VSG that I went to MX for (crazy right).
I turn 43 tomorrow and I want "ME" back. I love my family and I love my life. To feel even a little good in shorts, or a swim suit would be nice. I dont want to be the embarrassing parent pool side anymore.
I dont expect to look 25, nor do i want to. My biggest body complaint is the mons area. After all the surgery I have an enormous mons area with a ton of scar tissue.... and frankly I look like i have a penis under my clothes because if it.
I have had 4 consults ~ one Dr. just dont want to do the TT because of the large hernia repair from 10 years ago (major complications mesh recall). I was not a fan of one office, I decided not to travel just in case the old hernia repair poses a problem, so Im going with Dr. Well's here in Lexington KY. So far, I love Dee, and am so excited to be getting this ball on the roll.
I paid my deposit ~ set a date, got my time off approved ~ 7 weeks to get ready. Now I dont think I can wait 7 weeks. Im checking my finances to see if I can move it up to maybe the end of February.
Im 5'2 and 160 pounds. I really wanted to shed 10 but..... whats 10 at this point.
I may do breast lift in the fall if the TT/MR/lipo goes ok. Im a little scared after having one DR say he would not even do the TT for risk of complications. Actually what he said was "dont poke the bear".
I have a UGLY tattoo on my tummy and scar on my BB from a piercing. I will also be so happy to see that gone! DR. Wells said he cant wait to see me a few month PO. He said he knows I will be so happy and he thinks Im a great candidate. I love his confidence. No-one wants to go under the knife with someone that says " I think I can".

Im so excited.... I cant wait 7 weeks, so ~ I moved my date to 2/14/18. Now the rush is on to get all my ducks in a row in 6 days!!
recliner ordered off of Amazon.... $45. Thats right $45, and its nice too. wide, cloth, arm pull, with heat and massage, it was on the "used" amazon tab, apparently it was returned and I scooped up the deal. Wound care supplies picked up today. I will be shopping for 2, button or sip front gowns today and picking up my moms old walker tonight after dinner. Im also going to put together a 7 day meal plan for my husband so he wont be stressed out.
Im doing pretty good on dropping the 10 pounds I wanted, with 4 so far, probably wont make the full 10 but thats OK.

had pre-op yesterday. All was well. Dr. Wells said he thinks I will be so pleased. I have been so excited I cant sleep, however yesterday the nervous got on me and I got quite sick. I have been so worried about being able to go to the potty after surgery. I have IBS and seem to have extreme bouts of constipation. Like REAL DEAL. TMI ~ one time i had to go to the ER cuz I had not poo"d in 12 days, After home ememas, and laxatives. Had to have the ER doctor do a manual extraction.... thats right.... manual extraction of the poo. The single most humiliating experience of my life. SOOOO, as you can guess I dont want that to EVER happen again. I started taking stool softeners about 5 days ago to try and head that little problem off at the pass and now I have given myself a hard core case of diarrhea. GREAT!!! Surgery in the morning and my stomach hates me!!! The nervousness is not joke. I keep having dreams that I die, wake up with an ostomy, and most recent dream I got FIRED from my job. Which by the way I love. I cant sleep, and the DR said I can have 2 sleeping aids so I can rest tonight.
I think even more then getting this skin/fat taken off my belly is getting the tattoo removed. What was I thinking?? Good buy to that ugly mess. I added a few better pic's of THE tattoo.
I ordered a recliner off amazon. It was to be shipped prime and get here last Friday. Guess what? Its still not here. If it dont make it by tomorrow im going to be so sad.... no wait.... so pissed off. I need that damn recliner and i pay for PRIME SHIPPING!!!
Other wise, we are all ready to go. I got my meds picked up this morning, house is clean, Hubby is awesome and he took off work until the 25th to stay with me and help do all that hubby stuff that he does for our family.
I have told most ppl what Im doing. So far no "to my face" judgment.
Wish me luck! I cant wait to start my journey on the flat side.

sorry, daddy will not let you cuddle me, he will probably yell at you alot to get away from me. I will hide some treats at my bed side tonight so I can sneak you some when daddy is not looking. He is just doing what is best for me while i get better.
