35yo Mother Getting a Re-do - Lexington, KY

I'm two days out from having my smart lipo procedure on my abdomen, inner and outer thighs. I'm pretty swollen today, but the pain is really minimal. It's more uncomfortable than painful, but the best part is that I have absolutely no bruising! I am so surprised, since I bruise so easily! I'm so excited to see how everything looks once the swelling goes down.

I decided to have my smart lipo procedure performed by Dr. John Mullins. The areas that were treated were my inner/outer thighs and the dreaded "pooch". These areas just weren't responding to diet and exercise like they used to. I had my consult with Dr. Mullins and his team a week before my procedure. He was very thorough in discussing my options and we decided that the smart lipo was the best for my situation. On the day of my surgery, yesterday...so I am just one day out, I arrived at the Marshall Lifestyle Medicine office 30 mins before my procedure was scheduled. I took the prescribed medication and relaxed in the beautiful hydration bar area. Once I was ready, they took me back to the procedure room and I was in la-la land. The entire procedure was painless. Once all of my areas where finished, a total of 1.2 liters of fat had been removed. Dr. Mullins stated that there was hardly a drop of blood in it. My ride drove me home and I proceeded to go right to sleep. I took 1 Percocet and slept the entire night. There was very little drainage from my incision sites, but I do have a decent amount of swelling. So, it's hard to tell how the results are going to be, but I'm confident that they are going to look great!
