When???

When will I be completely flat? Will I ever be completely flat? Am I not wearing enough compression? Questions for my doctor when I go back on Wednesday.

8 weeks post op. Not many changes.

Yesterday was the 8 week post op mark and I can't tell much difference since 6 weeks post op. I am still sleeping with no CG and wearing it until bedtime. Still have swelling in the late afternoon which I absolutely hate :(

I've had a cold for the past couple of days and the sneezing hurts but nothing too awful bad.

I've been looking online at Victoria Secret bathing suits today and wondering if I am that brave...probably not.

Hiking

I did a 2 mile hike on Saturday which is the most excercising I've done since surgery. There was a group of 5 of us and I kept up just fine. I thought I would be extremely swollen afterwards but didn't see much more swelling than usual. So now I am confident about starting to walk/run again.

I'm still sleeping without my CG and that seems to be going well. I have an appointment next Wednesday and I hope to hear this stupid swelling that WON'T go away is normal. I sometimes worry that it is fat :(

Dr. Wells and his surgery coordinator Sandy are just amazing. He is a complete professional and I trusted he had my best interest at heart from day one. He was very patient and answered the 1 million questions I asked.
