I've always had self esteem issues due to small breasts. This summer, I finally decided to have the procedure done after wanting it for many years. I found my doctor on RealSelf and moved from consultation to the actual procedure within a couple months. I had a great experience with Waldman Schantz.

I wish I could add to these posts! I always hated having to wear padded bras to feel like I looked proportional in clothing and just plain hated the way I looked naked. Bras never fit very well and often things didn't come in my cup size in stores. I never really had to worry about bouncing for athletics, but in sports bras, it looked like I simply had no boobs at all and I absolutely hated it.

I was scheduled to arrive for surgery at 11am. I got about six hours of sleep (I was nervous) and got some things done in the morning - set up my pillows/bed for when I would come home, put my crate of food, trash can and things by the bed, etc. Not eating since midnight wasn't really a problem. I did experience some hunger in the early morning but nerves took my appetite as surgery time approached. I was quite thirsty, however. I was shaking from nerves after IV placement, so they gave me a Valium before I went to the surgery table. That chilled me way out. (I thought they might need to do that). I had some pillows in the car for the ride home. I don't really remember anything else, to be honest. My caretakers were very on top of my medication times and making me have a snack each time.
