So far this is my second treatment, I didn't notice any changes after the first time so I'm hoping I'll start to see some changes after I heal from this last time. The procedure isn't too painful, it feels like a hot rubber band snapping your skin, followed by swelling in the areas she covered, that feels like a bad sunburn for a few hours after but goes away, then your in the clear pain wise. For the following 3-4 days the spots she covered will feel grid like and gritty, but they clear up around day 4. This procedure stimulates collagen and will hopefully raise the acne scars. I was told not to expect a total improvement, but expects at least an 50-60% improvement.

The esthetician of the office that's I go to did my procedure, she is very knowledgeable on lasers and is actually licensed to do this service unlike many other places who let estheticians do it without being licensed, so that made me feel more at ease. She applied numbing cream to my face and let it sit for about 10-15 mins then wiped it off, covered my eyes with a tissue then glasses that you cannot see out of, and she went to work. The procedure doesn't take very long, I was there for about an hour total, but I didn't have a full face just my cheeks, chin and a few spots on my forehead. It feels like a hot rubber band being snapped on your skin, and soon af We you can feel the swelling begin, that feels like a bad sunburn and that feeling lasts for a few hours after you get home, but it's not too bad and it goes away pretty quickly. She thinks I will need about 4 treatments to fully achieve results.
