High setting and lots of swelling. I had the same procedure done last year. I had some swelling and peeling, but there wasn't a big difference. Yesterday I returned for a stronger setting of the CO2 Fractional Laser and I woke up this morning with my eyes almost closed from the swelling. I had lots of bleeding later in the day of the procedure. I will update when I have completed healing.

Thanks for posting! I am thinking about having this done in the fall, so am anxiously reading all the current reviews. Would you be able to post a before pic once you've healed to see the difference? I bet you'll be so happy with the results!

Having this procedure done Thursday. Did you have a lot of pain and itching the next day? Were you able to eat? Your skin looks great and I'm sure the end result will be totally worth it! Your pics help me to prepare. Thank you and I hope you heal quickly! I was told I should plan on staying in for quite a few days.

Eating was not a problem. The eye infection was painful. The actual procedure hurts, but is tolerable. Keep some Benadryl and hydrocortisone cream handy. Please post pics if you get a chance . Good luck !

My face was bright red on day five and is still pretty red.

hiw are you doing I am going to have fraxel laser and they told me 5 days off would be enough time off work what do you think ?

I had the procedure done last Wednesday and went back to work in Monday. I am stil red and sloughing some, but it isn't too bad. I told people at work I had a sunburn from a tanning bed. No one questioned it. You should be fine.
