Just to update you.. I had them removed
$4,000
Just to update on my fearing for my life after implants. I am now 6 weeks post op removal and I feel normal again. I saw a different doctor who thought i was having some sort of reaction to silicone and he wrote my surgeon a letter saying these need to come out now! My surgeon didn't hesitate and two days later they were gone. I knew I wasn't going mad although my surgeon will never admit there was a problem he acted very quickly to my doctor telling him I was having a reaction to silicone. Seems there is a lot of hidden truth but I'm glad I'm free :)

September 9th 2014 the Day That Destroyed my Life with Silicone Implants..
From day one coming off the bed after my op I've been Ill. as soon as I sat up I was sweating from all over my body and went Grey in colour. Week one after op I was blurry vision to the extreme which I put down to the meds. Since then I've had THREE A And E trips to hospital and MY 5th doctors appointment this week after having blood tests to see if they can come up with an explanation as to why I'm so ill. I am now 8 weeks post op and my life has been a living nightmare. I have now lost most vision in my left eye, pressure in my head from unknown causes and I am on no meds now by the way, dizzy spells, can't focus, can't concentrate, can't function, feel like I'm dieing and won't be able to watch my daughter grow up. Called the nurse at the place i had the silicone implants everyday asking for an explanation and her and the surgeon say the same thing that it is not the implants it's a coincidence it's happened at the same time. Really?! Please tell me I'm not going crazy here? I need these things out but I need to keep my job also as a another day off in getting sacked. Can someone shed light in my symptoms or tell me there is a cure or it won't last forever?

Hi Hun. I think you need to speak to your GP. This may or may not be connected to the implants (I've not heard of anything simikar) or could be related to the anaesthetic procedure. Or it could be unrelated. Either way your GP should be leading on any diagnostic pathway. It sounds like the type of migraines that I fet when stressed. Have they explored that? Not all migraines involve headaches. Keep looking after yourself and don't panic.

I agree, speak to your general practitioner. And don't give up! Stress and anxiety will only cripple you more, try to be positive and demand answers! Women are the toughest things in this world! You'll get through this

U should try to stay positive and not stress it will slow the process down just relax until the doctors actually tell u something is wrong. Everybody heals different everything's fine stay positive.

Hey, sorry to hear you're feeling so down. I'm almost 3 weeks post op and had 290CC implants. I feel the same, tired all the time, still a bit sore and so fed up of not being able to go to the gym. Hang in there, things will get better and I'm sure you'll be pleased when you see the final result! Xx

Hi thanks for replying I know they are getting better now but my muscle is still pretty weak.. I'm still considering having them out as I'm actually fearing my health and life, all I keep seeing is people who have ended up with serious health problems and life changing illnesses :( is this worth it I don't know x

Do your research before getting these things, I was told my only problem was going to be rippling I got told by my surgeon but that would be way down the line. What he didn't tell me is that women end up with alsorts of illnesses, life changing illnesses and women have to detox there body to get rid of silicone, ruptured or not the silicone still gets out it's called a gell bleed. My own doctor said by law they have to tell you these things but my surgeon didn't but I'm sure one if my signatures state otherwise I was conned into doing as I had tunnel vision just wanted implants. Now at 8 weeks post op I'm waiting for blood tests to see what is rong with me, here is someone that has never been ill in my life I'm 25 fit and healthy or was :(
