So far I think the results are pretty positive
Red Light LED Therapy
I started LED Therapy a couple weeks ago because I was interested in improving the quality of my aging skin. I was inspired by a YouTube channel called TJs Tutorials. The owner kept a vlog of changes in his skin while tying various skin care treatments at home and he swears by this treatment. I highly recommend this channel. I decided to do the same thing myself, keep a vlog of my skincare journey, as I'm looking to make major changes in the state and quality of my skin. My overall objective is to bring it to as much of a flawless state as I can achieve without having to wear ridiculous amounts of makeup. In the short term at least I would like to use the LED Therapy to improve collagen production, reduce fine lines and decrease hyperpigmentation. This last thing is a big concern to me because I have brown skin and could not find any definitive proof of the effects of LED Therapy on dark skin. In particular I was concerned it could lead to hyperpigmentation. So far I think the results are pretty positive but I'm still trying to gauge the overall effect.
I bought a device for at home use so the treatment is very inexpensive for me and I can do it anytime. I definately recommend this device. It is affordable and the quality is excellent. I'm not sure but I think it is a Korean brand. I posted a review of it and I'm getting ready to post my 1 week results. If you'd like to see the picture it's on my channel. I dont know if I can post a link here but I'll try (https://youtu.be/UT9Y5igsTDE). I'm still working out a personal treatment schedule so results will vary, please bear with me. This is a trial and error kind of thing as I try to figure out what works best for my skin.
I recently did a thread lift so I've been using the LED Therapy for swelling reduction as well. When I went to Korea and did jaw surgery the clinic used this as a deswelling treatment and it was pretty effective. If anyone has any questions about any procedure please leave me a comment here or on YouTube. I'd be happy to help out anyone with some information if I can.
