WORTH IT
I can now compete with confidence. The hanging skin is gone and I look FANTASTIC! The staff there is wonderful. If I have questions nurse vickie gets back with me promptly. Did not have to wait for an appt. They got me in when I needed. I highly recommend Dr. Rast! Hopefully now I can take 1st instead of second.

I was wanting to use Rast for mine. Did he have to do any incisions to your belly button for a full tummy tuck with muscle repair?

Was a little scared to see my stomach. Was praying my hopes were not to high. But Dr Rast dud his thing! More than I expected. ????????????

Your post op pics look really good, did he also do a tummy tuck or just repair of muscle and hernia? Did ins cover your hernia and muscle repair? I'm preparing to seek consults soon. Thanks for any info.

Hello! Thank you. Yes he did both. No I paid out of pocket. The insurance will pay for the hernia.

I paid about 12 grand for both procedures. Thats for the surgical facilities and anesthesiologist as well as the Dr fees. Done 3 months apart. Yes I do have some recent pics. I will post them shortly for you

Its been a long ride. I've been in a faja the whole time. Even went and git a waist cincher to go over it as well. Got it from Walmart for $11 and its just as tight as the faja. It really helps with my swelling. I have to get drained again tomorrow. I pray its the last time so I can finally ditch this faja in the next week. The one thing I wasn't prepared for was my mental. I'm a single parent of 3 boys and I own my own business. So its hard to just relax and do nothing. Feelings of worthlessness started to kick in. Make sure you are surrounded by positive uplifting people because it makes a big difference in recovery. Here is my pics ar 5 weeks. Before and after.

Hi! He did my hernia and muscle repair just 4 days ago. I did not get any drains either, but curious how do you know when you need to get drained? Thanks!

You look great! I’m fit like you to begin with, except lost skin. And the gym is my only outlet. I’ve thought about competing too but never have. My TT is this Feb and I’m nervous. How was recovery for you? I’m worried about my mental as well. Also hope i will be as flat as you! Don’t want to get my hopes too high and be disappointed tho.
