I tried Smiles Direct invisible braces and my teeth didn't track properly so it was advised that I get traditional braces. I decided that I would get a consult for veneers instead. The consult went great and I am looking forward to getting my 6 new teeth in the next few weeks. I can't wait to have a perfect smile.

I got veneers in my front 6 teeth and I regreated it a lot. I think you should think more before getting it because once you go down this road there is no turning back.

The first time I got it, the dentist made it terrible. Too bulky and too big for my mouth. They were uncomfortable and made my gum swollen. I know that if you go to a proper dentist you won't have those issues, but they will still be somewhat bulkier tham your normal teeth bc they are going to overlap them. And trust me it is so uncomfortable. Now I'm replacing them and I will replace with resine bonding because I hate porcelain so much. Just the fact that they are not permanant and you may change them is 15 years or so is already bad. The process of changing veneers is painful and takes a lot of time and can endup grinding your teeth off even more in the process. I looked at your photos and your teeth looks very healthy and pretty. It would be a waste if you did veneers. There is a way adults can try to improve slight crocked teeth if they change their mouth posture. You can look up the channel of very well educated dentists in this aspect. The name of the channel is: Orthotropics. Grindig our own teeth can be a traumatazing experience. I regret it every single day of my life, specially if we have other issues like bad bite or crocked teeth. Try other options first. I'm 22 too so if i could help convince you to not do it, I would get happy I could help someone since nobody opened up my eyes to the mess I did. I am 45 and getting 10 front veneers, but that is only because my teeth are chipping and crumbling apart and so worn down. I do not want veneers but feel this is my only option that is better than crowns. I’ve researched veneers for awhile now and it saddens me when I see so many already beautiful smiles and healthy teeth get permanently altered. I would do anything to have my teeth look like most of people’s before photos! Including yours! Your teeth are nice. I would really reconsider getting veneers on them. I think you will regret it. They won’t last forever and 15-20 years from now you will have another big investment to replace them.

Do you like them? I am debating. I have had stained teeth forever and have done laser whitening and bleach trays and everything else with no luck for lasting longer than a week. How much was yours ?

I got my temporaries removed and my veneers placed today! I had some major gum bleeding and bruising issues but here is my before and after.
This was just as traumatizing as the last visit but so far I am very happy.
