I have been working out for years and even at my smallest never been able to get rid of my belly, even when I lost weight everywhere else. I went into Aestheticare of Leawood on 5/16 and was very happy with the level of care. I had an hour with the large applicator on my lower belly and one of my sides with the smaller, then the second hour with two small applicators, one on the upper belly and on my other love handle. The most uncomfortable part of the Coolsculpt process was the very beginning when they put it on, my belly is very loose and the suction filled the entire cup on my lower belly... be sure to BREATHE through the process, it definitely helps. After a few minutes I was absolutely fine, I actually fell asleep briefly during both sessions.
The most painful part of the entire process was the Z-Wave wand, it didn't hurt at all on the parts that were actually treated because they were numb, but when the wand went around the perimeter of the treatment area it felt like I was getting a small electric shock, like when you touch a light and get shocked from static electricity. Bearable, but uncomfortable.
BRUISING:
I'm one day-post and have zero belly bruising, which I'm very grateful for, but both of my sides have small amounts of bruising around my lower back, and I feel this is because of the way I was sitting. Had I been laying on my side I think it would have had no bruising, as it's only on my very back.
PAIN:
So far, none. I'm wearing jeans and my upper belly is maybe a little tender if you push on it a bit but I'm in good shape. Will probably work out tonight.
SWELLING:
Minor, if any.
I am well-aware that days 4-12 seem to be the most painful from the other reviews so I'm anticipating that is coming when the nerves come back to life... nervous about this so I hope to document on a daily basis to provide good feedback to others.

OVERALL:
Feeling great other than a cold that I'm trying to get over. I got up and worked out this morning which went great other than the strange feeling of my stomach feeling numb and when jumping/running it felt a little sore on my top half, like a bruise or that feeling when you just start working out and your muscles ache. Really can't complain so far at all. Wearing jeans and no compression garments though I have been wearing a tank top under my clothes tucked into my jeans since i have a little swelling.
BRUISING:
Zero on my stomach and almost completely gone on my sides. I think I really lucked out here.
PAIN:
Nothing beyond what feels like a bruise. 1 on a 10 scale if I push on it.
SWELLING:
Some, even if I suck in my stomach still hangs out more than usual.
ITCHING/TINGLING:
Starting to feel little random tingly feelings in my stomach, like when your foot goes to sleep (waking up in this case?). Random and barely noticeable.

OVERALL:
Feeling okay, again except for the cold I have. Today is the first day where I'm feeling more of the tingles and pin-pricks coming back, which I anticipated. I did work out this morning with no issues!
BRUISING:
Almost completely gone on my sides, clear everywhere else.
PAIN:
I was at lunch with coworkers and had my first small pangs on the upper, my lower has been fine. Feeling what feels like getting shocked by a light switch randomly on my sides and feeling more of a dull ache in the upper mixed with some of the pin pricks, tingling. 2-3 on a 10 scale
SWELLING:
Some on my stomach still. Think my sides are pretty normal.
ITCHING/TINGLING:
Feeling tingling more than itching but i do have some itching on my upper stomach. Nothing unbearable but maybe mildly annoying?

Thanks much for posting your experience---I will be following your progress. I will be trying CS just as soon as my dr gets it later this month or next. Plan to do my inner/front thighs first and if that works then the outer area and banana rolls which lipo last Fall doesn't seem to have made a difference. Hopefully I'll be like you and won't have any bruising, little swelling and pain.
Hi, thank you for your review. It seems like you've had a great experience thus far and my fingers are crossed that it will continue that way for you. Keep us posted on your progress and post some pics when you have a chance. Love to compare your results now to your results in a few weeks!
Did you have the treated areas massaged?
