Feeling great

WORTH IT
It has been over 6 weeks since my surgery and I feel great! I am so happy that I did this for myself. My neck and back don't hurt consistently and that is a big plus. I feel so much better. I want any of you out there that are thinking about this to know that yes it is a personal decision but it is truly what you want it is wonderful! I should have done it a long time ago.

New Year New Me!

It has been 3 weeks and 4 days since my surgery and I am feeling pretty good! Still tender but getting better each day. My doctor used glue and no tape so that is good. Most of the glue is coming off nicely. I had always wished that could wear sports bras but now really wanting to see what a normal bra fits like. I am getting very anxious to try some on. I know it will be a bit before the real size is determined but I am very curious. How long was it before everyone started wearing a regular bra? Would love to hear back from others on this.

Hope everyone has a very safe and Happy New Year!

My PS didn't allow me to wear a regular bra until all my wounds were closed. Underwire bras can irritate scars doing more harm than good. I still don't wear regular bras as I don't need underwire. I love bralettes and pullover genie type bras purchased at Walmart. Very comfortable.
I am wearing bralettes too (Victoria's Secret has some pretty ones for $20 and I got mine for $10 when they were half price). I had my surgery in July and I hope I never have to wear an underwire again.
Amen!! There are a few wire free options available to us now and it is awesome! It just takes a little time to get to that point. You're living proof that it is possible.
Thank you all. I am going to give them a try. Very excited to see what I can wear, never really had options before.
After my first post appointment. On December 12 my dr told me to stay away from reg bras unless.. I was going out somewhere special I could throw one on for the occasion. So on New Year's Eve I went out with a nice regular push-up bra with under wire and cushion. It was nice. The bottom of the bra came nowhere near my incision lines. I took it off when I got home.

Looks great! I like the size. My breast have been going up and down in size due to swelling. They look so full and nice when swollen. But I love them when they're not swollen too. When it's all said and done is prob like to be this size you have here.
You look great!
