Hours Away from Surgery

First I am thankful for all those on this form that have shared their pictures and stories. It's those stories that have kept me encouraged throughout my six month pre-op process.
History: I was diagnosed with a thyroid disorder at 19 years old. I knew that weight would be a struggle for me at some point. During my 20's I worked out 6 days a week, took diet pills (Adipex or OTC), followed Weight Watchers. With all my efforts I was a solid 150 lbs. (height 5,7). It wasn't until I started having kids, started grad-school, battled infertility, and depression, the lbs. started packing on. I no longer had extra hours to exercise.
Now: My children are young and energetic and I feel that I am watching their childhood from the sidelines. I have no energy, or I am too concerned about rolls jiggling to enjoy myself. My feet hurt from the time I get out of bed in the morning. I used to love shopping and getting dressed up. Now I would rather stay in the house in my pajamas.
Decision: I decided to have the surgery because I want my life back. I miss the person I was prior to the weight. I miss being happy. I want to enjoy my husband and kids.
Pre-op- I was overjoyed when I started my job 9 months ago, and found out they covered bariatric surgery. As soon as I became eligible for benefits, I scheduled my consultation. I don't have any conditions outside of the hypoactive thyroid. I had to do six months of nutritional counseling. Waiting on insurance approval was the hardest part.
Surgery: I am now hours away from surgery... I am nervous... Anxious... Scared... Optimistic.
My current weight: 259.5 ??
Heaviest weight 267 ??
Goal weight: 160
Sleeved and recovery
