You do not need a new operation! Such scars are well treated without surgery. Typically needs 2 - 3 treatments with an interval of 1 month. The results of treatment are presented here:

Hello and I'm very sorry you are unhappy at this time. While most incisions do not become infected, especially with the antibiotics I prescribe, there is no way to fully prevent this risk. It's unfortunate that your incision site became infected post-operatively. I assure you I did not pull the stitches too tight and that the redness and swelling present in your photo above are from infection. The updated photos we have taken in-office after resolving the infection with a round of antibiotics show marked improvement from this as well as your before photo taken at your initial appointment. I would be happy to send them to you if you'd like. In a few months the incision will be even less noticeable, especially if you stick with prescribed ointment given to you. As I mentioned at your last appointment, I am more than happy to offer any additional procedure(s) to further improve the appearance of the scar at no charge. I would like to wait at least a few months for further healing. We can reassess at a follow-up appointment down the road. Thanks and please call (801)776-2220 with any additional questions or concerns.

I'm sorry about your outcome. Try to be positive.
Haven't he offered you any additional procedure or another scar revision to improve its appearance?
Have you talked to your surgeon serenely? Maybe he could help you.
