I finally was brave and actually went to a consultation a few weeks ago for this annoying double chin and fatty neck area. I'm going to have Lipo and a chin implant done by Dr Scott Thompson in Layton, UT in Nov 2015. I'm really excited but nervous for recovery! I also feel guilty using $$ on an elective procedure when I should save it for kids college or pay down the mortgage or?? Pre-op coming up soon!

I had submental liposuction and a chin implant yesterday morning. So far so good. Less pain than I expected actually! I've only taken 2 lortabs total, one late last night and one just recently. I can feel the swelling coming on. I had a gauze type wrap around my head til this morning and just removed it, now I have an ace wrap compression band around my face.

I think it is normal to feel guilty about spending the money, but if it makes you feel better about yourself then it is money well spent.
