Here's an update for everyone who has been asking... I'm dying not being able to work out. I was lifting and going to the gym regularly before surgery and since I've been told I can only lightly walk without too much bouncing. I can not wait to be released to work out like normal. Other than that they are healing great. They have fallen into their pocket and I'm happy with the size. I went and got fitted for a bra at 34DDD. I wear a very supportive bra all day and the a high implant sports bra at night from Victoria Secret. I'm still putting anti biotic Ointment on after I shower and gauze and wash my with dial soap. Doctor says my scars are healing beautifully.

Frankenstein-Boobies
5 days after surgery I got my bandages removed and desperately needed to shower. Getting naked for the first time and looking at your new Boobs is a lot to take in. I don't think I have a weak stomach but there's something about seeing yourself look so differently for the first time that it is extremely overwhelming. I became light headed and nauseous. I felt like I was going to pass out and or throw up. As much as I looked on Real Self and have personally seen the scars... there was no way I was mentally prepared to see them on myself. I sat down for a min took a few deep breaths and then made it through my shower. I washed very gently with Dial Antibacterial soap and had my husband apply some vitamin E oil along with the anti bacteria cream with gauze. It felt amazing to have a full shower. I did have a hard time shaving my arm pits though as it is still difficult to reach high over my head. Also let's talk about this bloat! I feel like I look 4 months pregnant right now lol when does that die down?! I finally went number 2 today, but still have a lot of gas going on. Slowly starting to take myself off the pain meds. Took 600mg ibuprofen this afternoon and one pain pill tonight to help with the soreness and still sleeping on my back at an angle. I've attached pictures of tonight after the shower, once again still super bloated. To me it looks like my left breast(your right looking at the picture) is sitting higher. I know they haven't dropped yet but have any of you notices your more dominant arm breast sits higher than the less dominant one? I also got a few blisters on my sides from the tape? Or bra rubbing? Anyone else experience this?

Hey. Congrats on your surgery!!! Yes...there is no way to prepare yourself for the first time you see yourself naked after the surgery. I too,,,became weak in the knees, light headed, and needed to sit down. Its so many emotions going through the head. I was super bloated too...couldnt go potty for almost 5 days. It will pass. Everything that you are experiencing right now is 100% normal. For me,,,I'm right handed. My left breast is my problem child. That breast was always higher. Women do get blisters, and rashes from the tape. Its annoying,,,but harmless. Your boobs look great!!! Your doctor did a fantastic job. You will notice all these different phases that your breasts will go through over the next few months. Its a super fun journey. Your breasts will get better, and better as they heal. Enjoy! Happy Healing!!! :)
