WORTH IT
I love Dr. Thompson. I had a MACS facelift a year and a half ago, and my skin looks better now than it did years ago. He explained everything to me prior to the surgery and did everything he could to make me feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend him.

MACS Facelift Pictures

Here are some photos taken two days and five weeks after my surgery, and a current picture. I am 51 years old. My lower face is lifted and looks youthful...no more jowling! Plus, I had liposuction under my chin to remove excess fat. I couldn't be happier!

Do you have before pictures? How are the scars?

Sorry for the late response! I'll look for and post some before pictures. The scars are now completely gone and invisible. :)

Could you please tell me how it is holding up as I went to my surgeon today for a consult for the MAC lift and he said after six months it may sag by up to 50% compared to when I first have it done. Did you fnd this? It is the one thing holding me back from going ahead if my face sags again so soon. Also did it help your neck at all as mine sags?

Sorry for the late response! My MACS facelift has held up pretty good five years later. Although most people wouldn't notice, the left side of my face has relaxed more than the right and I'm seeing very slight jowling. As far as a saggy neck, I don't believe the MACS facelift addresses that area. I believe a full face lift would take care of that though.

I had my MACS lift done in April 2021 also with Dr. Thompson. it has relaxed some but when I compare to the before pics, it's really not that much. now I want a neck lift for a nice defined jawline and that would probably complete the look for the next, hopefully, 4- 5 years. Also, you must take into account the way you age as none of us age at the same rate so for some, sagging 50% after 6 months could be true while for others, it will last a lot longer. Mine is def not 50% but it did "relax" after some time. only noticeable to me.
