Eyelashes are still somewhat longer than what I started with, but not as long. I stopped using grandelash only a week in because it was making my eyes red all the time. I think I am going to wait a few months before I start that up again. Just wanted to update that lashes have not yet reverted back to their normal length.

I had great results with latisse, and was using it for almost 4 years. I started to notice my eyes were consistently getting darker and more sunken about 6 months ago. I'm not sure why I didn't have these side effects from the beginning. Unfortunately, I had to stop using it. It's been about a month and it seems like most of my periorbital fat has come back. It was great while it lasted... I might try using it again a few months from now.

Have your lashes gone back to their original length? Have you noticed a lot of lashes falling out?

My lashes are still about the same length right now, and they haven't been falling out more, just the usual amount. I started using GrandeLASH-MD, hopefully it will work just as well as latisse, without the side effects.

My friend who's an optometrist told me that is a common side effect of long-term use of Latisse.

I'm having the same problem! I had been using Lilash with amazing results for 4 years and switched to Latisse when I could no love Niger get the other product in the U.S. My lashes are great but my eyes look terrible. I started losing the peri orbital fat with Lilash and it's gotten worse with Latisse. I'm still using the product but I'm going to need an upper eyelid lift here soon. I think I'm going to g to give castor oil a try and quit Latisse. I hope my peri orbital fat returns.

Hi Zoe, I'm not well-versed in eyelid surgery at all but wouldn't an upper eyelift make the eye area look more sunken?

I was looking into it, and yes you are right! I'm going to need another way to try and tighten up my upper eye lids:-/

Thanks for the quick reply, Zoe. I was wondering because I have seen people who have had upper eyelid surgery done and often afterwards they seem to have a more prominent, very "vertical" eyelid that looks makes the area look sunken --I guess too much periorbital fat removed? I wonder if lasers can "tighten" that area without actually removing too much fat.
