Each and every day I wake up and thanks to Dr. Capek feel that I am a new person. I went from a very sagging 36DDD (or bigger, not sure, could never find a bra to fit) to an uplifted/perky 36b or c cup (not sure yet). So far, even though my clothes are big on me, they fit me better than they ever did before and I look so much thinner it's amazing. I used to end up buying a size 16/xlarge shirt and a size 8 or 10 bottom. My self esteem is soaring. Please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Capek and consult with her about this procedure. You will never be sorry.
Truthfully, am not sure of the amount of the procedure, my insurance covered the breast reduction, and I paid for stomach liposuction. So, please don't quote me on the amount.

Please note that this surgery is not only for the young, but also for the young at heart (I am 62 years old). The surgery has improved the arthritis in my neck, my scoliosis, degenerative disk and even my COPD. I stand straighter and breathe better. So please know that age is not an issue. I don't have before and after pictures to share, sorry. :)

It hasn't been a month since my surgery and yet I feel younger. Someone asked me the other day why would I consider this at my age (she was in her 50's). I said just wait, in about five years you will start noticeably sagging more and more. When I got up in the morning, there is a mirror as I walk to the kitchen and I could see myself sagging to my waste line. Not a pretty picture. After the miracle that Dr. Capek performed, I actually went out and bought a tri-fold mirror and a belt to hold up my pants (which keep falling down). So between the breast reduction and stomach lipo, my shirt size has dropped from an X or XX large to a medium and my pants size is down to a loose size 8. Do not have pictures yet, am still healing (but rapidly), so before and after pictures may be available at the end of May. If this surgery is a possibility for you, my recommendation is to have it done as quickly as possible. Thanks for your time and once again, thank you Dr. Capek.

Were you concerned/nervous (or was your dr) about being put under and having copd? I want a tt and some lipo to flanks soooo bad but I'm soooo scared about having copd and being put under........?

Pre-op approval from my cardiologist (I have a thoracic aortic aneurysm), my regular doctor and my pulmonologist were required before surgery and, surprisingly, all approved and thought it would be good for me. So, I really wasn't nervous at all. So, if your doctors approve, you should be good to go. I would - and do - recommend this surgery to anyone. If there are more questions, feel free ;)

Thank you for answering ao quickly and for being so detailed about your personal situation. I guess I just keep thinking about there being all these complications because of my lungs and then I don't wake up....freaks me out. I think I will eventually be ok and just do it, because I really want it. :)

If your pulmonologist is not worried, I wouldn't think you would have to be...I was more worried about the cardiologist saying no. My COPD, although mild, still requires the use of Spiriva daily.
