I had lasix done on my eyes July 2017. She talked me into getting monovision. I did not want this but she said I will love it. I HATED IT, I was overcorrected! She should have tried contact lens in my eyes first. I had a revision done on my left eye November 2017 (by the way she charges $599 for each revision). The eye was not so myopic as before but I still didn't like it. I asked before I had the surgery is it safe to have another revision if this doesn't work and she said yes. By the way, before both these surgeries she had patients who forgot their valium and asked me if I could give them some of mine. The last guy didn't get the surgery because he forget to remove his contacts that day, so he left with 10mg of valium in his system, that I paid for. Also, very unethical! After my second revision my eye seemed fine but a week later I noticed my vision became very blurred. I went to see Dr. Dutt and she said I had a "thing" in my eye. What thing? She said I had epithelial ingrowth. There wasn't much she could do. She said it would probably go away. I sat there stunned and asked her if I could go blind. She said no, just take the antibiotics she gave me. I asked, "For how long?" She said until the bottle was emptied. She said that maybe down the road she could flush them out but there was nothing to do now. She said for me to come back in 6 weeks but even then she could do nothing. As I was leaving I said to the receptionist I need to ask Dr. Dutt another question. How long do I take the Lotemax for? The receptionist said until the bottle runs out. I said I was only supposed to take the Lotamax this week. She said then stop it this week. Now I'm getting medical advice from the receptionist. THAT WAS IT! I went home and researched epithelial ingrowth. It needs to be monitored closely. Within weeks it can start to melt the lens. I panicked and found AIO ophthalmology. By Friday of that week I had my epithelial cells removed and I am being closely monitored. Dr. Dutt is very rude to her staff. I have never been in her office when she wasn't berating one of them. I saw her roll her eyes once at a patient because he was asking questions about his eye. She is all about the almighty dollar and that is it! I don't think she cares about any patient.
