Ok, y'all so I have been hairy every since I could remember , so ever sinc I was a little girl I set out to one day have it ALL taken care of and NOT be hairy anymore, for good!
So I started researching, and researching, and saved enough money and decided to go with Laser Hair Removal, and the place I chose claimed to be especially fit for dark skin so that is the only reason I went to them.
When I got there, on the first treatment they dry shaved me so bad I bled everywhere which was visible once she tried to wipe me and was shocked (mind you I warned her that I have sensitive skin and need moisture , that should have been my strike but being hairless was one of my life dreams so I continued, plus I had already paid them in full at that time.
Long story short, I went to treatments there for 2 years straight, over 10 treatments , and then shortly after that I became hairy again, no the treatment wasn't even worth it, not even 1 percent, it was completely ineffective.

And to make matters worse, I started growing hair in places I had never grown hair before like under my chin, all down my neck, the hair started coming in like I was a man, so embarrassing.
My goal before getting treaments is to achieve a hairless body so I can start modelling.
But directly after, all my dreams and goals were shattered, I actually fell into a deep depression, I locked myself in the house for years, I even avoided dating. I mean really what guy would want to date a girl whos just as hairy as he is and who grows facial hair just as fast as him.

That awful experience turned my word upside down, so the real point of this is I now want to consider electrolysis, but I'm afraid that it's ineffective as well and don't want to put myself through another process again just to be let down and bruised.
(It also was never performed by a Doctor, and they did not care about me only about my money from the first day, so really I should have avoided them)

Any doctors out there who are specialized and experienced in dark, extra sensitive skin, that has coarse hair growing from it PLEASE CONTACT ME.
Please only contact me if you are experienced in doing electrolysis on my skin type, and if I can really get permanent results with my skin type.

(I also have a huge deal for you)
Thank You!

I had electrolysis on my chest and side of my face. I can honestly say it was brilliant! Be prepared for it being toe curling! Good luck!

yes I am very afraid of the pain it's going to bring....Did it really give you 100% permanent results???

I am so sorry you are going through this! Have you seen an endocrinologist or geneticist to find out what the root cause is? Knowing that might give you some more effective treatment options.

Hello i have hair everywhere thin but very very noticeable, it's really depressing and I wish to get electrolysis because laser can stimulate thinner hairs and I dont want that to happen. I wish there was a cheap cream that would help reduce the hair but vaniqa costs a fortune and it only a small tube.

I already bought a package for facial hair removal (I'm South Asian -- light skin coloured, dark coarse hair). They told me I'd be the perfect candidate, but after reading all the reviews on this, and how it works for the first 2 yrs and then is horrible afterwards, I'm reconsidering. I've been doing a lot of research and although I have not tried these methods, there are various natural ways to reduce or lighten hair on the skin -- I'd recommend going on Pinterest or even google for that matter for the recipes. It's as simple as lemon juice, water, sugar, some oatmeal, tumeric, etc...various recipes. You may want to try them out as a healthier and natural way. I think I will try it and resort to waxing as usual.
