Ultraclear Laser Coring Healing Query

Charlotte1290
I have had Ultraclear laser coring for skin tightening and this picture is 12 days post treatment.
Is the healing supposed to take that long? It feels like it is taking forever whilst I see everywhere online that the recovery with Ultraclear is a lot faster than CO2.

I would like to also precise that I am applying thick layers of Aquaphor 3-4 times per day to help with healing

Update: it has now been a month after the Ultraclear laser coring and the healing is getting there :-) Seems like it simply takes a while longer than I expected

I'm investigating this and yes, a 2 week recovery seems overly optimistic.

Indeed, in the end it took 3 months to fully heal. There are still faint grid marks but they are too faint to be an issue

How long did it take for the red grid to go away? I'm 5 weeks post-treatment and still have a very red neck and cheeks, with not much improvement since day 7.

Hi, the redness slowly subdued after a month or so, but the faint grid marks remain still. I was advised to apply Aquafor balm a few times per day and protect the skin with a strong SPF50, just in case it helps you.

Thanks for sharing your experience. How are you doing now? I’m about 2.5 months out — I’ve been diligent with SPF50 every day. My hyperpigmentation has improved a bit and the redness is slightly better, but my skin is still quite red overall. The grid marks are very visible and I can’t even cover them properly with makeup, which is really upsetting.
