I’m here to hopefully dispel any anxiety over getting this skin resurfacing procedure done. I finally took the leap as I was concerned about signs of aging sneaking in. Skin laxity under and over the eyes and some fine lines here and there! Well I’m glad I did. I am 7 days out and I’m here to say it’s not as bad as you think after watching all those YouTube videos.
Dr Rostami, Alyssa and staff made me very comfortable during the entire process. Local numbing and an oral pain killer and we were ready to rock and roll. The entire process was fast and while I will say there were a few areas that were more uncomfortable than others, it is tolerable!! I went home and followed all of the (provided) skin care routine and one week out it’s looking pretty darn good. I’m not red like you see in those videos and most parts of my treated areas have gone from a sandpaper feel to nice and soft.
I can’t speak to the results as it is too soon but I can speak to the fear of getting it done. I cannot wait to see the results! And my research tells me the results will just keep getting better over time. I will update.
