Horrible Bbl Experience

I have never written a bad review in my life but I want to warn people of my experience at Refined Image.
I had the bbl procedure done in early August for sun damage on my arms and chest. In a few days very dark spots appeared that eventually bled and fell off and took my pigment with it. The doctor attempted to blend the spots by retreating. It was Very painful and the pain lasted for approximately a week. The same thing happened. So now I have white spots and stripes. Dr Bickerton told me that she could treat my tan skin and tells me she still treats tan skin all of the time. She wants to charge me to try to blend it any more. My husband asked for a refund and Dr Bickerton’s husband, who works there, agreed to give me a refund but later told us they would not. I am going to another doctor who has been in practice for a much longer time and we are working to blend it. Dr Bickerton often said she has no idea why it happened and suggested I had done something to cause it. Which I most definitely did not.

Oh my! I'm so sorry to read about your experience. That looks terribly painful. Best wishes in your recovery.

I'm sorry to hear about your results. I have had BBL 2x with no problems, however if I were you, I would see my own lawyer about your results and any lasting disfigurement or scars. I hope things cleared up, but if they havent you should seek assistance. Perhaps that doctor shouldnt be preforming BBLs.

You poor honey! I hope you can get help, it looks like she burned you severely. I have had BBL 3x. Face, neck & chest, it has been super helpful. I noticed Dr Bickerton is a family Dr NOT a dermatologist or aesthetics plastic surgeon. She doesn’t seem to be properly trained or certified, I would contact a lawyer! Good luck

That is a horrible reaction! I'm surprised she treated you again, after seeing how you responded the first time. When I became sensitive and blotchy after my 2nd treatment, my tech canceled the appointment and rescheduled it to give me time to normalize.

This is horrible! I cannot believe that she tried to treat you again instead of tending to your obvious wounds. And I can't believe that they did not refund you for the pain and disfigurement they caused. This doctor should be out of practice. I very much hope you found a board certified dermatologist who was able to help heal your skin.
