I am 5 weeks out of the laser eye resurfacing-uppers and lowers and wow-such a difference. You can see I am still pink even with a bit of make up but not noticeable to everyone else. Using a gentle cleanser and Skin Medica eye cream. For cover up, I recommend a liquid base that matches your skin tone. I have been using my Armani liquid base in 4.75. And, I m very pale. Most concealers are too thick for the newly healed kin around the eye. Dr. Stan Kovak did an awesome job on my eyes. I highly recommend him and his office for noninvasive treatments. He is the best!

This process is no easy path to less wrinkly eyes but oh, the improvement in a one-and-done! Worth the pain for sure. Here I what I was told by Dr. Kovak for a great result! Wash every 2-3 hours for the first week with the vet gentle cleanser he provided then reapply the healing ointment in a very thin layer. Sleep it's the head propped up with 2 pillows to reduce swelling. I kept anything my head touched with super soft-non-terry towels. For washing-be very careful and stay on that waging schedule. I purchased the small muslin baby washcloths, and they were the best. I saturated them in warm water, then pressed the to the eye area. I used a light amount of the cleanser, carefully washing the area, then I gently splashed warm water on the area again, and just pressing the cloth to my eyes. Then, a light coating of the ointment. The ointment feels SO good. On the other side now-looking forward to a check up in 2 weeks and some Botox to prevent wrinkling! Bravo Dr. Kovak. I really trust him and his staff!

I had a consultation with Dr. Kovak yesterday to have him assess scar revision for a basal cell removal on my left breast and the removal of crepey under eye wrinkles. He immediately gave me steroid injections to flatten the raised scar with more treatment to come. Also, I will be having an intensive laser treatment for the eyes in early May! So excited. I am not a candidate for surgical removal since I have dry eye syndrome, and surgery can exacerbate that condition, according to my ophthalmologist. Plus this treatment is a one and done thing. Dr. Kovak is the only doctor I trust with a laser and my face. He is skilled, professional, and personable. His office staff is friendly and caring, and Nurse Sandy, his assistant and wife, a great resource. Love them all!
