Festoons CAUSED by Laser Resurfacing?

I had laser resurfacing done 30 days ago but cannot tell you if it was Erbium YAG laser or something else because the doctor has been very vague since I started asking questions after the procedure, and has not responded to me for 10 days now.

Initially, I was going in for two procedures laser and...(?) when the doctor texted me the morning of my appointment, just 45 minutes before I was to arrive, saying "the machine had broken the night before" and they were waiting on a part which would arrive overnight by FedEx but they didn't know when, so I would need to reschedule. I'd already put in for two weeks leave at my job in advance and they got coverage so this was not an option. I explained I had already numbed my face and taken the Valium and was on my way. Moments later, another text, "It's here, come in!" and I wasn't feeling confident but headed to the office anyway.

Long story short, the doctor only did one procedure and I could not get her to tell me if it was Erbium YAG laser, ablative or non-ablative, etc. My skin was quite red afterwards but has never once peeled or oozed. I have followed aftercare directions meticulously, gently washing my face twice a day with Cetaphil foaming wash, and using Aquaphor, never once allowing the skin to dry out. I drink 100 ounces of water a day and am NOT dehydrated (as the doctor said I may be to explain what is happening to my skin). I am STILL sleeping sitting up because I am afraid that having my face on a pillow will irritate what I believe are festoons and the wrinkled mess under my eyes, NEITHER of which I had before the procedure which you can see in the after photos as my skin was healing, this all started appeared after day 12 and has worsened ever since.

Before the doctor stopped responding, she had me purchase three of her (business name brand) skincare products, a Hyaluronic Acid collagen booster, anti-aging growth factor cream, and intensive moisture cream, (which cost me over $400), providing directions for me to use them in this order, twice a day after washing my face in the morning and again in the evening, to no avail. I have completely stopped putting the HA anywhere near my eye and messed up areas since learning HA worsens festoons.

I am terrified that I will need surgery now to correct whatever is happening under my eye area and so have turned to RealSelf for help.
